KONTAKT update question

    I have been battling through a Kontakt freezing problem for close to a month now. My Native Access shows that the Kontakt Factory Instruments are not installed. I never uninstalled or changed anything so I guess this is an update. I installed it before. What happens is that when I instantiate Kontakt in Pro Tools, I get two of them and Kontakt still freezes. I don't get it. Any illumination would be much appreciated. I use Windows 7 and have the most up to date version of Kontakt.
