Kontakt vs. Gigastudio

    Now that Kontakt will be supporting hard disk streaming, what advantages does Gigastudio hold over Kontakt? Also, how good is the performance of these two with Sonar? Thanks!

    I think Kontact will rock after they implement the GIG format completely. They still don't support release samples or dimensions, which are critical to the accurate playback of many GIGs including Gigapiano.

    I'm seriously considering the crossgrade, but I want a guarantee that full GIG investment protection is there (i.e. 100% support, can't hear a difference.)
