Kontrol-S compatible with K8U?

    I have K8U, apparently you need K9 or K10 to use Kontrol S.

    However, I read on KVR that the following instruments received updates for Kontrol-S support; does this mean you CAN use Kontrol-S with Kontakt 5 and Reaktor 5 in K8U? I do not plan to update as K9/K10 do not offer products I am particularly interested in.

    Changes in Battery 4.1.4: (not in K8, though)

    • Added advanced Komplete KONTROL integration.
    • Fixed an issue with kits being replaced when loading a host session with the kit-preview button enabled.
    • Other minor fixes.
    • Discontinued Mac OS X 10.7 support with this update.
    • Discontinued RTAS support with this update.
