Kontrol S Series with Komplete Select and Indvidually purchased NI VSTs

Sorry if this isn't the right part of the forum to ask this. I'm thinking about buying the S61 midi keyboard. I see it comes with Komplete Select which sweetens the deal. However, I already have almost all the NI VSTs that I already want, purchased separately and individually over the years. These are FM-8, Razor, Skanner, Prism and a few others.

My question is, can these standalone, individually purchased VSTs be hosted by Komplete Select (I've read in a few reviews they will not, but maybe there have been updates), and if so, will the S61 keyboard treat them the same as the bundled software included with Komplete and have the same functionality? If not, I think it's a deal breaker for me and I'll go with the Novation SL MKII keyboard which has many more controls to map to.

I've also read that the pitch bend/modulation strips on the S61 are having problems. Does anyone know about that?

Hi All,

Support finally got back to me on a couple of questions I had, answering the one about individually purchased products, as well as if it is possible to control more than 8 parameters per VST session. See below.

1. You can use up to 16 pages à 8 knobs/parameters.

2. Yes, you can use the single products with KOMPLETE KONTROL.
