Kontrol S2 and Ipad 2 Connection Problem

    Decided to up my game a bit and purchase a controller to use with Traktor DJ and got an S2. However I'm having no luck getting it to work.

    The S2 is running the latest firmware and Ipad 2 is running iOS 7.1.1. I'm using a brand new NI 30 pin USB adapter.

    I've tried all possible combinations of turning the app/controller/ipad on and off. The only real result I get is when I have the Ipad and S2 connected and I switch the controller on. I get the 'bong' sound from the ipad as if it's charging, however it doesn't charge and nothing else happens. The USB light just keeps flashing.

    Can anyone help?

    You need to update the S2's firmware.

    Hold on, it is the Mk2 version, right? If not, that's the reason.

    Yes its a mk2 and ive updated it to the latest firmware.

    When I've had a prob with my s2 I've pressed A+B whilst turning it on...seems to reset it .
