Kontrol S2 FX Buttons

Just got my Kontrol S2 today.


I've found that my S2 has some irregularities regarding the FX buttons lighting up.
In the FX 1 panel, the DRY/WET power button does not light up while the 1 2 3 buttons do.
In the FX 2 panel, the DRY/WET power button does work BUT the 1 button does not while the 2 and 3 buttons do.


Is this a settings issue or something wrong with my S2?

 

mine is the same way and i wondered the same thing. by default FX1 is a group effect and FX2 is a single effect. on a single effect the dry/wet button acts as an on/off where as on a group effect there is no need for such a button so it is inactive. also the 1 button on FX2 is just a reset button for the settings in that fx deck so its not supposed to stay lit.

Having the same issue. Would appreciate knowing whether we have defective units or this is related to the software setup

 

i talked to tech support its the default settings....we do not have defective units. if you want different settings for the fx buttons you need to set them yourself. i hope this helps everyone.

cram1nblaze thanks for your words of advice (in the second post). I was really worried I had a defective unit. It's day 2 with my S2 and I'm loving it so far!
