Kontrol S2 Latest Firmware Update

    Hello Everyone, I was really pleased to receive the e-mail outlining the new firmware update for the Kontrol S2 as I had been experiencing freezing issues during sets with my PC.

    Run the updater only to be advised that I have the latest firmware version installed (See Screen Shot).

    Is this correct as I have not upgraded the firmware since I purchased the device last Christmas.

    The latest firmware for S2 MK2 is 68.

    Thank you very much for your reply. Just to let you know that I managed to successfully upgrade by connecting the Kontrol to my main pc at home. For whatever reason it did not want to do it from the laptop.

    Hi James, from the screenshot it is very likely that you have run an older version of the Device Updater on your laptop. Maybe you had the older version already in your download folder and accidentally started this after downloading the new version. You can check the version in the Device Updater's About window which opens when you click on the NI icon. The version must be 1.1.4.
