Kontrol S2 MK2 + Rokit 5 G3 Too Bassy

Hi,

I have the above, even with the LF turned down to minus 3 on the back of the monitors, the bass is too much where i live as i'll get complaints and do my girlfriends head in with the bass!

The bass EQ is positioned at 12 o'clock on the controller.

I know I can move the bass EQ lower, and yes that works, but, when I record mixes, this has to be at 12 o'clock to make the bass come out on the recording.

So my questions are these:-

Is there another way I can control the bass in Traktor Pro 2, so I can still have EQ at 12 o'clock, but will control the sound externally?

Will using a graphic directly into the other 2 free inputs work?
