    Hey People,

I'm thinkig about getting a new 2-Deck Midi-Controller, and these two are my current favorites:

Traktor Kontrol S2 (http://www.native-instruments.com/#/de/products/dj/traktor-kontrol-s2/) (Everybody here should know this one)

    Stanton DJC.4 (http://www.stantondj.com/stanton-controllers-systems/djc4.html)

The Stanton is a fairly new controller and I havent seen any reviews yet, so I home you can give me an advise.

The pros of each controller in my opinion:

    S2:
    - Good bulid quality
    - Really good integration in Traktor
    - Good Audio Interface
    - Many Mappings out there

    DJC.4:
    - Easy access to funktions e.g. Hotcues and samples without shift-functions
    - Inputs
    - EQ Kill
    - Already 4-Decks

What's your Opinion? Has anyone already made some expiriences with the Stanton?

    Greets, Reach

I just bought a DJC.4. Really like how solid the controller and the buttons and controls feel. The mixer sliders leave something to be desired, but they are bearable.

Having the inputs to be able to use external sources (turntables, cd-j) is a great plus. Having this option lead me to start looking at the controller more in depth.

Having both RCA and BAL 1/4 outputs is nice especially in long cable runs.

The hot cues and sample section are really great. I was previously looking at the Numark n4, but since you had to hold SHIFT while pressing I felt like it could be a detriment to my mixes. The only time you should have to hold down SHIFT is when you DELETE something or for MORE options. I like that the djc.4 was strait-forward in that regard.

Some of the small knobs on the front, like crossfader control and touch sensitivity are hard to move. But being that they are in the front of your controller, they probably should be.
