    Hi guys,

Im sure i will need to post more specs here - please let me know what you need.

Basically upgraded from vdj to TP2 (latest version) and a kontrol S2. VERY impressed with the power of TP2 and the kontrol. However im having issues.

Using the kontrol S2's sound card the sound quality seems to be quite poor.

To be specific the whole sound seems to be muffled, however it most noticeable in the low frequencies. The sound is not distorted, it essentially sounds like im playing a low quality MP3 (which im not).

Using a windows laptop and vista. Above minimum specs.

    Any advice?

Apologies for uninformative post title btw - overlooked it.

Have your tried the tuning tips at all?
I have same issue even after running through the tuning tips and am at a loss as to how to fix it.

I know it doesn't help but my S2 sounds good. I run it straight into a pair of prodipe pro 8's. You've probably checked all these already, but might be worth a try

    set output to 44100

In traktors mixer preferences, set headroom to none

make sure all filters are off (deck & fx)

Make sure the eq's are not killed (Blue light next to them on screen)

Is it just traktor that sounds off through the s2?

    Good luck getting it sorted
