Kontrol S4 deck b issue

    Hi guys,

    Thanks ahead of time for the read, hopefully this can help me and others as well.

    When I try to play music on my traktor 2 (2.7) I can't load or play any tracks from my deck on deck B ... when I click and drag with my mouse it works. The load button completely doesn't do anything, and although the play button shows as being pressed on traktor 2, it doesn't play. The crossfader, tempofader, and the high/mid/low controls are all responsive on traktor 2, but I can't know for sure because I haven't been able to play a track and test them out.

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the kontrol s4 driver multiple times ... beyond that I wouldn't know how to troubleshoot. Any ideas would be a great help.

    Post a screenshot if you can? Is Deck B a normal track deck?

    I don't know how a screenshot would help? But I am using a lenovo yoga 2 pro 64 bit and yea it's a normal track deck. the deck changing button doesn't work either ... I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of manually doing something in the mapping? i wouldn't know anything about it but am willing to learn!

    also, are there admins/actual NI support that check these forums? help would be greatly appreciated

    I don't think the admins are part of the NI support group. Also from my past experience the support techs do not monitor or know much about what is posted on this forum.

    Sounds like you could have a mapping issue or a bad load button on your controller. Open a Trouble Ticket would be my recommendation. Also make sure your S4 has the latest firmware.

    Ah ok, that would be a lot of help for this forum I think haha

    I'll try looking into mapping issues, I wasn't sure if I should touch them at all because the left side seems to be working (i've been using A and C for now) but yea I'll see if customer support can help me out, thanks!
