    Hey guys,

Just wondering how long I should expect to wait on this.
I bought and registered everything a week and a half ago and have yet to receive anything about the update to tp2.

The website info claims that within 48 hours the update code will be mailed out and that no action is required on my end..... not exactly my experience so far, and it's not at all clear who or how to contact anyone about this.

    Thanks!

Today received what i think is the email voucher for it, but i have to say that the email is so incredibly generic sounding and vague that I'm really not sure.

More to the point, there is zero instruction on how to actually get the update.
The website's product purchase section itself - under the s4 category - simply says it'll be a free upgrade.

Anyone have the slightest idea about what to do?

here's what i did receive. if anyone can point out anything useful from this email, i'd sure appreciate it!

"Thank you for registering TRAKTOR PRO 2 S4 Update:

Now i'm guess the 25 digit number is some kind of serial(though this is never mentioned in the email), but if so, it isn't recognized by the NI site itself, so... ?

look in Service Centre for the update download or:
Login to the Support site and look in Updates for the TSP2 installer and download it. Use the 25 digit number to activate it.

    i tried that.
when you go to the Support site, the only update I find is for "Traktor_2010_PC.zip", which - according to the description provided - does not include anything related to a t2 update.

however, going on the assumption that the description is wrong, i tried it anyway.
activating the sole file contained in the zip file generates an error message:
"No previous installation found. Please run the full product installer before running the update installer."

Am i to now assume there is something else i have to download first?

Thanks for your advice, but i have to say that this entire process is about the worst written piece of audio software update procedure I've ever encountered.
    ---
i have to say that the email response from NI about this has been very good in terms of timeliness, if lacking in clarity.
they finally uploaded a direct download for me and that seems to have worked, though now i have no idea how tp2 is meant to mesh with the s4, but that's for another thread.

    You need the 2.0 installer.
Download and install the T2 Demo from the website and activate it with the serial number. Then update to 2.0.1 with the one from the Support site that you have already downloaded.

This should work. Let me know.

Post your ticket number up here and well see if we can get a mod to push it. Who did you file your ticket with? Tech Support, Sales Support, or Order Support.

OK. Order support is the correct one. Only a mod can take this further so you just need to be patient I guess.
