Kontrol x1 like Midi Fighter

I'm new to the forum and I've done a little bit of research and have achieved nothing to further progress my need. I wish to use the entire bottom section (below the loop knobs and hotcue button) as effect buttons but similar to how midi fighter does their their effects with the 4x4 button system. Im really trying to utilize what i have and not spend anymore money than i have to on unnecessary items. any and all help is welcome and greatly appreciated.
