Kontrol Z2 unresponsive after a few seconds

    Hi all,

    I understand all of your frustrations but as I said back in November we escalated the issue to Apple and send them a Z2 to fix the issue. The problem is in MacOS and it can only be fixed from their end. There is not much we can do at this point but to escalate to them which we are doing on a weekly basis. As soon as we receive feedback from them I will let you all know. We all hope it gets resolved quickly !

    Im had flash backs of the S4 when it came out and was garbage with Apple products.

    So with kexts now deprecated in macOS, it means NI need to upgrade Traktor and NI drivers to Driverkit anyway (the drivers are now in the app - not the kernel), so apple will just put this back onto NI, and I doubt we will see a fix in IOkit. By using the word "hope" in your response it implies that NI are not doing this and are merely "waiting" for apple to solve the problem that NI can solve themselves. Good luck for 10.16.

    Traktor Kontrol Z2 is Class compliant which means we do not make or have a driver, it comes from the OS.

    The issue persists with 10.15.3.

    Looking over the version history for previous OSes (10.8 and up), the next version update ought to be around March. There were periodic supplemental updates in between version updates, but most of those appear to be security related.

    So unless the issue is security related, I wouldn't keep hope till then.

    NI, Reckon we can get a layman explanation of what the issue or suspected issue is?

    YEAH I have have a trakor S4 ... It had its problems with apple for sure. I was talking about the pioneer S9!!

    Hello dear Sander.

    Please tell me is there a real chance for Z2 in Catalina or should I just find some other solutions? It's almost 6 month with no solution now.

    I mean serious Sander. Just want some statement from vendor of my new Z2.
