That's what I had figured all along. It's just how you described it made it sound differently. Thanks for clarifying it though.

I just tried to run the Pioneer mixer in internal mode to use the post fader FX and everything works fine besides the crossfader curve. It's absolutely useless for scratching so I'd like to know if there's a way to adjust it? I callibrated the crossfader in test mode and the settings got saved, but unfortunately this has no effect on the curve. Any suggestions?

Same issue for me with the crossfader in midi mode. I tried it yesterday. I had to map the mixer section of the mixer. Everything went fine EXCEPT THE CUE (monitoring). I had to click the Icon on the screen to get the channel preview. I tried to go back to previous setting as directed in manual "Utility - Load A" but it would not revert. How can I get the mixer back to factory setting?

    Thanks for the help.

the solution for my problem was pretty simple, i just had to set the crossfader from soft to sharp in the preferences in traktor. haven't used traktor in internal mode at all before yesterday, so i'm not familiar with all the options yet.

@PiYo: have you installed the latest firmware update (3.0)? for me every other mappings and settings work perfectly fine.

@sndrsklr. Thanks, You were right. I was using the latest firmware but did not install the latest mapping. I was using the mixer on external until Thrurday. As soon as I did most of my dreams came true (C&D preview).

Changing the crossfader from soft to sharp did the trick for me too, BUT I had to put let say @ 85 ~ 90%. At 100% sharp on 2 occasion the sound did not cut eventhough the crossfader was at 100% on the opposite channel.
