I am using Kore Controller Editor v1.2.1 (R373) with the Kore 1 Controller, and I want to use the Ableton Template to control Ableton Live 8.1.1...

Can anyone please walk me through what's needed in terms of setup to get this controller/software relationship right, as I've managed to get LIVE seeing the midi data as the midi indicator in LIVE is indeed flashing (but no sliders/controls are moving/responding) when I move the knobs/switches on the Kore 1 Controller whatsoever?

    Thanks.

I wish I could help you, but I've run into the same issue with the controller editor and Ableton 8. I can get it working with Ableton 7, but nothing with 8. Perhaps someone else can shed some light on the issue. I guess we need to figure out if it's a Kore problem or an Ableton problem.

I also have the same problem, the Ableton preset just doesnt' work. If you put the Kore controller into Mackie mode and select it in Live as Mackie Control it works just fine. But the Ableton template to control racks does absolutely nothing

Apparently this has been like this ever since Live 8 came out, which has been a while and nobody seems to know anything and no word from either Ableton or NI. Come on, this can't be that hard to fix..

Well, I would be able to help you if you were on Sonar, but even though your name is Sonarfreq, you're on Ableton. So that throws me for a loop as I know nothing about Ableton.
