Kore 2 64bit driver (when?)

could we get a statement when the 64bit driver for Kore 2 will be available? Or is there any closed beta programm that one could take part of?

I'm glad you brought that up =)

They'll be looking for testers as the drivers get towards release stage (which is very soon from what I've heard). If you'll PM or mail me the e-mail address that you're registered under (and one to reach you at if they're different), I'll forward it to the QA manager for consideration.

So far I haven't gotten any invitation from the Beta team. I hope the 64bit driver is due soon. :|

Neither have I, I PM EW about it and He doesn't know they aren't telling him either. I did how ever emailed tech support about it. I doubt Ill get a reply to it or at least they will respond that they cant divulge that info. Thats OK I have so many other projects going on that Ill be occupied for a while. So Ill patiently wait.

 

Well looks like Kontakt 3 is getting a major over hall. I just wish they would put something out about Kore 2. What I'm also surprised about is they announce dates for the Kontakt 3 beta testing but NOT one peep about the Kore 2 beta testing.

EW can you at least ask them. I find it kinda funny that they will announce the kontakt 3.5 update and schedule. But not one peep about Kore 2. Any clue at all as to what is going on?

 

It's important we keep this thread at the top of the list and visible. I am sure there are alot of us with Kore2 controllers and 64 bit OS, who are anxiously awaiting the drivers for this. EW can you help with an expected date for release?

Same here. I dust it off once a week while it's sitting nicely here on my desk doing nothing than acting as an aluminum paper-weight. The MPD32 next to it is doing a fine job all alone.

 

Same here too... Apart from the fact that I've the KORE early first edition, and I've been waiting for these drivers since fall 2006...

Well, I think we can ever wait for this DNF-like release (gamers will understand)....

Because of that, a few months ago, I've bought an "old" Novation Remote SL, which is natively supported by vista 64 bits.

Useless for now, my KORE unit will probably stay in his box, and will go for a walk on ebay.

Oh... and for now I'm definitely not supporting any Native instruments products, on the hardware side though.

Sorry for you, ew, I understand that you're between two fires ( one of which is extremely silent...inexistant?), but in all case, thank you for your quick reaction on these forums.

I think it's more that they're seeing how the GR beta's going to go; RK looks like it will be the first to go x64. After that, I think the others will pick up steam.

Also, I still have a bunch of people to forward to the quality manager- that's on me. Life's been hectic lately. I'll forward those tonight or tomorrow.

The Audio8 drivers for Traktor Pro are 64 bit, and the latest GR beta's got 64 bit drivers.

Kore's are coming, but I can't say when.
