    Hi,

I apologise upfront if this has been answered somewhere, but I can't seem to find it, Google is no good to me and this forum is massive.
So, I've got a brand new MacBook Pro and decided to keep the old one from 2011. so that I can install Kore and old Komplete 6, does anybody know what is the requirement for it and the best MacOS version to go about installing? I skipped version 7, but do have Komplete 8 if that was still OK for Kore?

Thank you so much, really appreciate any help!

Kore2 software can still be installed even on latest macOS, you need to disable SIP first before running the installer (google "disable SIP").

Kore 2, Kontakt 4 and Guitar Rig 4 had their last updates designed for 10.6. They still work great on 10.8, they're less snappy above that.

You get the most out of Kore if you use the last koresound-based plugin versions of Absynth, FM8 and Massive.

Thank you, that is exactly what I need to know, having Kore 2 controller, I don’t care that much about having the latest MacOS, but the last supported for Komplete with kore sounds. Do you know what version of instruments and/or MacOS that would be? As for the MacOS, I’ll go Mountain Lion then you reckon?

Thank you, I’d need to avail of kore sounds that ended support long time ago, hence an older system OS.

Komplete 6/7 & Kore 2 work great on Mountain Lion. Komplete 8 doesn't have Kore support.

You know where to find the update installers? Go to support>downloads>updates for legacy products>

The last koresound based version of Absynth is 5.03. It crashes Logic X on El Capitan but not on Mavericks.
    Fm8 version 1.11
    Massive version 1.21
The last updates of GR3, GR4, Kontakt 4 and Reaktor will work, you can even do the engine swap trick for Reaktor.
