    Hello

I've some Kore sound packs running in a registered version of Kore Player under macOS Sierra. The AU plugin no longer works as it's 32 bit rather than 64 bit, but the standalone does and Logic finds it's MIDI i/o. This is fine.

I've seen a Kore 2 controller for cheap in a local Cash Convertors. I don't know if it's with software.

I see there's a thread questioning whether the Kore 2 controller works at all under macOS Sierra. Let's assume it does for the following questions

    1. Does/did the Kore 2 controller work with Kore Player or, if there's no software, will I need to source the original Kore 2 software and if so, is it available still from NI somehow?

    2. Does/did the Kore 2 controller work as a general MIDI controller or was it locked to Kore software? I'm assuming you can/could use it to control anything but worth checking.

    Thanks
    Jim

No it never worked with Kore player, just the full software

Yes it can function standalone as a midi controller
