    Hey all,

    I'm using a MacBook with OS 10.5.04 & I've been trying to run Kore 2 in Cubase LE 1. Although it runs fine standalone (is activated etc.), everytime I try to load the VST in Cubase, a promt appears asking whether I want to activate it, buy it, or use it in demo mode... (exactly as it does in demo mode).
    It also says the following:
    "Relevant system components have been exchanged. Please use the service center to re-activate. "

    I've tried selecting the option to run it as a demo(despite the fact that it's the full version, thus should be activated!), and nothing in Kore 2 works, it just lists the patches but is unable to load anything.

    I've tried selecting the service center option from this point, but it just confirms that it's activated, and then in Cubase LE Kore 2 remains unable to load any patches/pretty much just freezes (note: only Kore 2 freezes, not the DAW).

    I've had a look through google & here for solutions, and haven't found any other cases of this happening. I think it may have something to do with me having the demo installed previously? (despite the fact that I did a full uninstall of the kore 2 demo as per the instructions on the NI knowledge base before installing the full version).

    I hope someone out there has some suggestions/answers, this is starting to push the limits of my patience & sanity :confused:

    Cheers :D

    Update; I've just tried to run it in Cubase LE again, and now it's crashing Cubase & coming up with: "The application Cubase LE quit unexpectedly" when I try to load Kore 2 as VST... Still works fine standalone.

    Welcome =)

    I moved this to the product installation and activation forum; Marius would have a much better grasp of what's going on here than I do.

    Hi Path_Of_Sight,

    if this happens on an IntelMac, it is due to the emulated mode your Cubase version runs in. Use a host which is officially supporting IntelMacs like Cubase LE 4.

    Makes sense, I'll look into getting something compatible.

    Thanks! :)

    (I'm just posting this for people who have the same problem, so they can find it, because it took me some time) with guitar rig 3 and Cubase LE.

    Macbook: Guitar Rig 3 runs standalone, but used as a VST insert in Cubase LE 1, it asks for re-activation. see posts above, it's an intel mac problem
