These points don't seem to address the problem that only Absynth 5 presets are working.....unless Absynth 4 is installed as well as Komplete 6. Hence the fact that we need a proper update.

 

I am a professional sound designer. Overall I am quite happy with Kore 2 and NI overall level of support. However out of the box Komplete 6 doesn't work with Kore 2 AS ADVERTISED. It took fishing around on the support site before I found this thread to confirm it.

You (NI) should use the service center to announce issues like this. It would have been understandable if when I ran the service center is warned me about this incompatibility. Rummaging around on your site to discover this thread isn't acceptable.

 

waiting with installation?

I just ordered Komplete 6 and I have Kore 2, after reading this thread, I wonder, would you think it is best to wait with installation of the monster package until the Kore update is made available?

 

I own Komplete 6 and was going to order Kore 2 until I read this thread. As I was reading I took detailed notes and ended up with 3 pages of instructions for getting Kore 2 to work properly with Komplete 6. I've decided not to order it until the v2.1.1 patch is released and confirmed to be working as intended. If the patch still requires a lot of monkeying around I'll skip Kore 2 altogether.

 

I've just ordered the upgrade to Komplete 6. After reading all this I'll be holding off on Kore 2 until 2.11 works. I know I'll waste hours messing around - time I don't really have spare. Can't wait to get my hands on the upgrade though !
