Yes but everytime pointing on some issues which regards in house development is boring!
KORE will not developed any further this time, but they have to do it in the future for upcoming OS updates this is fact.
I know NI isn't wrong but somtimes it feels like they lose sight of their own goal.
Hardware is fine but we don't need approximately 50 Traktor controllers, we need software that will work together!

Anyway thanks for the Update NI

i dont get it. i installed the update and replaced the jbridged Kore2.dll with the original. Maschine now starts up, but i cannot select Kore2 as plugin, neither it shows up in the plugin manager in presets. rescan doesnt resolve it either. installed Kore2 vst over the existing installation. still wont show up.
    any suggestions?

    DISREGARD!
...i am stupid. i was running the 64bit version. in the 32bit Kore2 is there and i am actually mostly using the 32bit version since i have quite a lot 32 bit plugins.
Wondering anyways why the Kore2 64bit wont show up in Maschine 64bit. thats kinda weird

Here, too, on PC, too, although I had to delete the plugin cache, in order to have Maschine scan Kore again. Pushing "rescan" did NOT rescan Kore2 again.

Nice to see that NI fixed this issue. After 2.5-5 years (depending on who you ask) it's obvious that we still love Kore and it will not die! You'd think that if nothing else, the dedication and love for this old thing would give NI pause to consider a new product. It seems like one of the big problems originally was the overhead to create all the KSDs for every product they released, but it seems like that is something that could be solved by the engineering team...

Still a healthy community of Kore users on Facebook, too... https://www.facebook.com/groups/218988171459534/

kore vst works in version 2.05. if the scan apps crashes and you get multiple instances, you have to delete kore2 VST, then run scan app, quit, then re-install kore2 from the updater, Vst plugs only,.

I am a longtime owner of komplete 5,Traktor scratch,Kore 2 and now just ordered maschine mk2 only to find this thread now,and just started using kore again recently only to find out that It doesnt work right anymore,I bought kore 2 just before it was doscontinued, and feel as though Native instruments is guilty of a tort against its customers,It explicity mislead its customers in many ways, and the more I read these forums the more I realise that many of its customers act like many Apple owners
(I also own several devices from apple)whom are cultist in the way they defend anything the company does, which is no coincidence considering apple is the main company whom cater to music production and therefore many owners of Ni own macs, the moderators also seem to shut down anyone they deem less than loyaly devoted, and the forum members flame and troll them to no end claiming they are "just whining"I feel like NI is just like Apple nowadays in how they nickel and dime their customers and flat out mislead people in their marketing. The sad part is that they know they can get away with it and just dont care.I have yet to read anywhere anyone listing any flaws once so ever, everywhere online everyone acts like maschine is the holy grail.when its not that special.bottom line I know ill likely be flamed by everyone, and possibly banned so Ive kept from saying anything until now even though ive been a customer for 6 years,Im just flat out angry that I was completely mislead by all the claims they made about both Traktor Scratch and Kore 2,its rediculous that kore 2 was advertised as being able to buy and load soundpacks now long discontinued, they broken my version of traktor scratch so that the bpm no longer works right at all when it used to,the worst thing is everything theyve done is intentional considering the technology on the products is much powerful enough to still be used as intended but no longer can it be used the same way it used to even though nothings broken on the hardware. So bring on the Native Instruments cultist fanbois claiming im whining.Im venting because im angry with a company ive spent thousands on,and feel ripped off.

Relichashking: I agree with some of what you say (I detest Apple and the way NI have done business for the last few years). Surprisingly though, I feel I must defend the mods here. I have been very disparaging on a number of occasions and, for the most part, I have been allowed my say.

Are you whining? I don't think so because your 'whines' are like mine. Some will say we're both whining. Many will (and do) understand. We were misled - expensively so, both in terms of time and money. We believed that NI (and Kore especially) were 'The Future of Sound'. We came to realise that NI is now the dedicated follower of DJ fashion.

I hear you man, it throws me back to June 2011. This is the Kore forum and the Maschine people who were laughing at us whiners lost interest.
I don't think you'll be banned and just post your problems, still Kore users here who can help you out.Are you a member of the Facebook group yet? The "about this group" is no longer relevant but it works better then the forum :)https://www.facebook.com/groups/218988171459534/

Thanks ill sign up now that I know.Im glad that im not the only one who is actually holding NI to their misleading marketing,Im going to report this to BBB and to everyone whom will listen, since its not a publicly traded company I dont think it falls under Sec rules but I know theres various ways they can be fined and also can be sued under a class action for false marketing.

i found i could do much of what i could do in kore, if you trace the kore sounds back in reaktor you can find the factory ensembles used and the settings as well as other sounds from like absynth of guitar rig, i can do in maschine, except the morphing function. NI should have, and may have future plans to, add that to machine or reaktor... imo, while i can see the logic of maschine replacing kore as an extended solution, kore was discontinued too early as the morph function is not found in any new NI solution yet and the kore controller should have been ported over to work with the m2 controller on m2, or a new lean version of kore, minus the sequencing and a simpler mixer, created to add morphing to maschine and open existing kore projects by loading the effects in sounds and the sequences in the m2 sequencer.

kore suffered from the same problems as reaktor is now with new ensembles like rounds: the high demands on the cpu to make it unusable for the average user with the average pc.

There was a lawyer involved, she was one of the victims of the false advertisements and changing of specifications after the sale, but there were not enough people to follow through. Most of us don't want to part with our Kore so what do you do. Money back but keeping the product? Don't think that's going to work. Most of us decided to put our money in companies we trust.

I said that part because I see several posters in this thread and others have a banned logo on their profile ,which yours also showed as banned at the time I was reading this thread prior,as well as others whom deleted their account since. And if all the apologist shills defend NI's every move to the death on every thread it creates an enviornment free from discord. These guys flame everyone including you before from what ive seen about not bringing that here, yet they have the audacity to stay reading everything on these threads they claim to despise. In no way are we asking for too much or whining. They do the same thing on threads where people compare maschine to other hardware in an unbiased manner,NI doesnt sell only hardware but mostly software for production so if anyone makes hardware comparisons they are wrong according to fanbois, even though its often times favorable for someone to recommend Komplete over maschine. Im only writing this due to the fact that ive yet to see anyone respond these points to them and considering this thread from what ive seen so far has more like minded thinking people who have been NI customers for years as opposed to most the cultist fanboi personality types who seem to be largly new maschine customers acting like new mac customers or ps4/xbox fanbois that buy a flashy new product and then commence going on all forums and flaming the customers whom dont see the Brand they bought into as something that has to be defended against anyone whom doesnt consider said brand free from criticism.Im also writing this because my hope is that anyone reading this responds with some of these points when flamed by fanbois in the future, they obviously believe that whichever company gets most customers will then win the "war" and therefore be beneficial to the customers of their products just like the way the ps4/xbox fanbois act, while in fact their only allowing the company to lure in more customers with false marketing/promises/lies/excuses as to why said products are more flawed than previous products and once successful those said customers are already locked into their ecosystem. This prevalent mentality damages industries because once one company gets away with it they all do.I know I wrote an essay but I hope people rebutt fanbois in the future more than they have so far, even if my profile gets banned or post pulled.

I got a time out for a bad joke, had nothing to do with complaining against NI :) Usually people get banned for insulting others.
But that was way before this thread started, maybe it happened again and I didn't notice because I didn't check in for a week.

Ok I just noticed that several of the people"whining"in the past show as banned and then when i click on their account it says its closed, and they also as their last post were arguing with others blatently flaming them for "whining" then suddenly on said thread it says post deleted by moderayor or something like that.but either way my point remains Native instruments used to be my favorite music company, no longer,Its obvious that they have done several moves to get people to upgrade that are downright unethical yet they only receive praise from media and most customers.Althoigh there customer service is still among the best except if you ask Kore related questions of course.
