Kore 2 no line out sound

Hi: hope you can help. The line out in Kore 2 has stopped producing a signal. This happened when I inadvertently started two instances of guitar rig 4 in standalone mode. The situation now is as follows: no guitar sound in guitar rig 4 neither headphone or line out though there is sound when I play a file on the tape deck though only on headphones.
For other Komplete 4 instruments*
they play through headphones but not line out. I tried replacing my kore 1 controller with guitar rig mobile and switched to its driver then I could play my guitar through guitar rig on line out. So it seems to be a problem with the kore 1 controller driver (btw I'm running kore 2).*
** * So far I tried uninstalling the kore controller driver and reinstalling xxx15 version I've also tried reinstalling kore 2 and guitar rig 4.
But problem remains.

Reselect the Kore controller driver in audio/MIDI settings, reselect the sample rate and reselect the outputs. Done.

Thanks EW did that. Asio ran its test automatically indicating it was ok but still no sound. Very strange. BTW I have upgraded various NI products over the years including guitar rig and Kore, which means i have older versions of guitar rig3 and kore 1 on my computer. I was never sure if the upgrades needed them to function. Do they? If not would in help to uninstall that stuff?

Try dumping your temp files using CCleaner or the like and reboot afterwards.

thanks again d/led CCleaner and ran it but no change. No guitar sound at all from Guitar Rig and other instruments sound only on headphones not line out.

 

Contact support- something's gone screwy.

stuff since reaktor 1 came out, tons of stuff actually, this
is my first time to contact support directly. It's already
been a number of days with out hearing back from them
any idea what the average wait is? Is this normal or should
I resend my support request?
