Yes, KORE 3 is coming, and it has 64-bit support AND multi-thread support. It comes with over 250,000 presets PLUS you get the full version of KOMPLETE 7 for FREE if you are a registered user. And the new KORE 3 controller is now ESP enabled so you can control KORE 3 with your mind. All this and it's only a $59 upgrade. See your local dealer today. :p

    You've seen this ?

    http://www.native-instruments.com/#/de/products/producer/komplete-6/?page=1296

My guess is shortly after this runs out we'll see Komplete 7 coming along.

Let's see, what has had some major updates (or new versions) lately ?

New versions of Abs, GR and Kontakt, and a massive update to Maschine.

    What's left ?
    Maybe we'll see Battery 4, FM9, Massive 2 and Reaktor 6
All programs haven't been updated significantly for a long time.

    Kore 3 ?
Well, maybe a1mixman is right, and we finally see some major improvements and additions to Kore - imho way overdue, looking at the latest free massive Maschine update I admit I'm really jealous.
There are plenty of good feature request posted, which are worth to be finally integrated into this program.
I still believe, it could be a monster application (like Maschine now seems to be),
if some more development is put into it !
So NI, don't let as down on it !

But as said, this is just my guess...

    Have a nice day

64-bit support is the big frustration for me. Most other audio products I use have 64-bit integration to some degree. Kore 2 unfortunately is not usable with Cubase 64, so it's ultimately a waste of money. It doesn't make sense, since 64-bit plugins for all the fun stuff (Absynth, Kontakt 4, Reaktor and Maschine) are nicely integrated. Kore 2 is supposed to be at the heart of all of these synths but without a 64-bit compile it's frustratingly useless.

    we can only guess.

I saw an interview, and NI said they already showed what they can do with software.. in the upcomming time they will show better workflow/ useability.

After that interview, they came with Maschine.

I expect something like Maschine, but for synths.

So I expect something like kore 2.... but with an approved way of controlling.

It can be Kore 3, I don't know..
