So i cant instal the player, but i dont really care about that much, i just want to use the thing as a midi controller. BUT it doesent appear on the controller editor software(i also use traktor f1 in midi mode only, so i have it installed), so i guess it needs some older one?

I also noticed that the player isnt compatible with yosemite, and the fix that people claim is working doesent work(the installer just gets corrupted if i change the .dist file as guided, and the file of already modified .dist file on the topic doesent exist anymore). But installing it isnt necessary, right?

I installed the controller drivers, they seemed to install normally, but the controller still doesent appear on the controller editor list of devices. Do i need to install some older version of it, if so, what version, and can it run at the same time with the newer version?

So what the heck am i supposed to do?

Ps. If someone knows how to get the player working also, it would be great. I have one plugin i thought i might want to use with it, even tho i would normally control synths on ipad with it.

Okay, so i managed to install the older version of the controller editor and ableton to recognize it. However its not working properly. Basically i cant route the midi normally for some unknown reason, i think some driver incompatibility. Normally what i did(using new version of controller editor and kontrol f1 controller), was to use this app called midipipe to route midi around the computer and to outs of interface to to ipad or over bluetooth to ipad. But for some reason neither the f1 or kore 2 can send midi recognized by the midipipe, i was only able to get ableton to receive the midi, but normal routing of it doesent work.

There are also some small bugs like connect button doesent work on the editor, but i need to unplug the usb for it to wake up from sleep.
