After downloading the player I can get it to open as a stand-alone but not as a plug-in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Ron

I think Kore 2 Player is 32-bit while your DAW might be 64-bit so it won't show up in the VST Plugins depending on which DAW you have. If you're using Ableton and you specify the Native Instruments folder it will scan all subdirectories for appropriate plugs and list them. If you're using something else, you might have to check with the DAW manual for methods regarding plug-in location. But generally if you have a 64-bit DAW unless it can bridge the gap and load 32-bit plugs, they won't show up. You'd have to install the 32-bit version of your DAW in addition to your main DAW.

markerline, Thanks for the reply. I use MixCraft 5 and it is a 32 bit DAW. I also use Guitar Rig 4, the Mobil version. It may be different but it works fine. I also use Kontakt 3 with no problems. One thing I've noticed tho, is the Player, in the stand alone version, I can not monitor any sounds. I use to be able to hear the sounds. But the tech. support had me to download a newer version than came with the Guitar Rig 4 as I can not get the Pop drums to download from the disk. It say's the players library can not be found. Even tho as I stated It seems to work fine ( other than the sound issue). What I mean is the library is indeed there.

Set the proper path to the samples in the standalone player in the file menu. Reboot and rescan your plugins. Done.
