    Ok im on a win xp sp3 pc. I hade kore working flawlessly with komplete 7 (kore 2 upgrade version). Everything was fine till i updated kore player, which i figured id use as an effects insert thinking maybe it wouldnt take up as much resources since it is a slimmed down version.

    Well as soon as i updated kore player (which is now removed from my pc) my list of sound packs has disappeared, the sounds are still there and can be played and used but the list wont populate. I liked the idea of sorting through my sounds and effects based on hiting the sound pack.

    I have already removed and reinstalled kore 2 to no avail, sound packs still will not populate in the organizer. I have rebuilt the data base multiple times and rebooted in many different patterns. Kore 2 and all Komplete 7 parts are all up to date kompletely.

    I read on here somewhere that there is a soundpack file that may be able to be deleted that is hidden but that was a conversation about a Mac. So is there one on the PC as well that may be deleted and where is it? I know i uninstalled kore 2 but some files get left behind.

    If this question has been answered before please forgive me but i couldnt find one that was specific enough. I will accept a link as an answer HAHAHA.

    Welcome =)

    Your problem's more than likely that you've unchecked soundpacks as a searchable attribute. See the thumb.

    Thx for the reply brother.

    The soundpacks search is active it just will not populate.

    Any other suggestions besides reinstalling komplete 7 or reformatting lol

    I would totally pay 100 extra dollars for them to ship komplete on a hard drive. I fear the day I upgrade to win 7. Lol

    Sure. Trash koredb and SoundPacks.cache

    On a Windows system, go to (turn on "show hidden files and folders":
    XP:
    Documents and Settings\*your user account*\Local Settings\Application Data\Native Instruments\Kore 2
    Vista/W7:
    Users\*your user account*\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Kore 2

    On a Mac:
    User/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Kore 2

    Trash koredb. koredbLock and SoundPacks.cache. Reboot your system and start up Kore as a standalone. Done.
