Kore can't locate Absynth 4 presets in multi!

So,i've got the multisounds now.Kore just doesn't want to find any Absynth 4 presets to go with the multisounds or any singlesounds.
This is truely a revolution in preset management. Find sounds fast?
It's taken me five hours already to get this far.

I have this problem too.
No single sound of Absynth can be loades from within the Kore browser. Maybe Absynth has to be updated for this?
If so, it is a pitty this is not mentioned in the Issues section of the readme file.

 

I think maybe the installer has put stuff in the wrong place. Logically it must have worked at least for the KORE Multi designers so why not for us?

I've noticed the rebuild database function in Absynth standalone doesn't seem to do anything either when I click on it. I guess we might have to wait for an update?

 

I'm stuck here too... "Couldn't restore preset for main plugin "Absynth 4" in channel "Bass"" says the error message when I try to load the first multi-sound in the list... and that's after rescanning plugins and rebuilding the database.

Weirdly in Absynth 4 too when I load a preset it loads ok but continues to play the originally loaded patch... ummmm....

we apologize for the inconvinience with the new multi sounds. An Absynth 4 update which fixes the Kore loading issue will be available soon. As a work around you can load Absynth single sounds from the Absynth sound browser.

that's great but can I suggest that you also make it so when a Multi faisl to load because it can't find a patch that KORE tells people which patch it can't find so they can use such workarounds to good effect. At the moment saying we should use the workaround of loading sounds from the KORE browser only makes sense with singe sounds, not multis.

Same for all KORE multis - they should state what components they are made of, not just the instruments used (maybe in atriibutes)

I have the same problem, but also with FM8. None of the sounds for A4 or FM8 allow me to prelisten. Massive seems to work ok.

 

...seems I have this prob with all new komplete synths.
Wonder how they have built the presets and get them to work...

I have the same problem that when I load an Absynth 4 patch it loads the same sound over and over and will not access the newly selected patch. COME ON NI!!! I have had nothing but problems with Kore from the moment I purchased it! I also get crashes when Kore scans VST plugs, specifically Melodyne Bridge crashes as well as MDE-X VST from Korg. NI, you have got to get this stuff worked out. I believe Kore was released pre-maturely and maybe you would had been better off waiting till it was solid. I am very unhappy.

 

Oh yes, I forgot to mention, when scanning VST plugs I get the following message. "Syncrosoft POS Error Message File Synsoacc.bundle does not have the expected interface". This happens when MDE-X VST by Korg is scanned. Just another NI issue, lovely!

 

I don't see that one here, and I use the Digital Edition bundle myself. Are you using the latest Syncrosoft driver/LCC? Also, do you have your Syncrosoft dongle plugged in when scanning your plugins?

Yes I downloaded the latest Syncrosoft driver/LCC and installed it, maybe I did something wrong and you can help me with that one? Thanks.

 

By the way, I do have a few apps that use the Syncrosoft dongle so I transfered them all to one, I hope that doesn't cause the issue, but the dongle is plugged in and the apps load in standalone without any issues.

 

OK... here's what I'd do.

Unplug the dongle and uninstall the license control center. Reboot, and run the newest installer from the Syncrosoft site. DON'T plug in the dongle until the installer tells you to. Reboot, and then run the license control center. All your licenses should still be on there.

Now, start KORE and rescan your plugins.

I've got all my Syncrosoft stuff on the same dongle myself. One thing just came to mind though; did you have a demo of either Legacy version on your machine at one time?

I never had a demo installed but did upgrade from Legacy to Legacy DE.

 

Hmmm... I don't think that should make any difference, but I'm not sure.

Is the original Legacy still on your machine?

Not sure what you are asking me..?? When I upgraded to DE I didn't remove the original Legacy that was already on my machine, I just installed DE.

 

OK... I'm wondering if that's the issue. Was it the version with the mini-controller? If so, try scanning your plugins with the mini-controller plugged in. I know it's not supposed to be a CP device, but I'm wondering if KORE somehow read it as such and confused the two versions.
