Kore can't locate Absynth 4 presets in multi!

    By the way, it happens twice when scanning. None of the other Korg stuff crashes?

    Yes, when scanning AU it never crashes once.

    I don't know what else to try? I have tried everything. So do you have the MDE-X installed in Korg folder inside VST and it never crashes?

    I did notice too that it is the MDE-X vst that causes the crash, nothing else?

    did you already install the FM8 1.0.1 version? this should solve this issue.

    Yep, but I'm also on PC and not Mac...

    Are you using the latest DE version? It's 1.21 (at least for IntelMacs; I don't know if the 1.20 version's the latest for PPC or not). This uses a newer version of the Syncrosoft driver; use that one if you're using 1.21.

    Thanks for your response. I actually had already installed the FM8 1.01 update prior to the new KORE version release. However, because of your comment, I looked at the AU component and discovered that it was not replaced when I did the FM8 install. The standalone had been running 1.01 and this of course led me to believe falsely, that things were ok. I'm sure you've heard of this type of situation, and I myself have had a similar problem recently with Guitar Rig2. Anyway, it's working now, and all I'm waiting on is for the new A4 version to do the same thing. Any idea when it might be released? Thanks again...
