I'm an old NI user that had Kore 2, the Kore Controller and Komplete.

Updated Komplete, bought a Maschine and now I'm looking at my KORE system and wondering if it's something I can re-add to my workflow.

My fears would be that the software's grown so far that the controller would be useless, as well as the software, compared to Maschine.

Does anyone use Maschine and KORE? Or perhaps use KORE Controller with Maschine?

Why not use it, it still works fine and can do a lot more than Maschine when it comes to managing patches, creating multis and particularly controlling and morphing plugins. Also Maschine is hopeless for controlling instruments, it has no buttons, no support for aftertouch, no control over knob resolution and no morphing.

I still use Kore2 software, and I'd use the Kore hardware except I don't have the desk space for it at the moment. I also own Maschine but 99% of the time I find Kore better for sound design. NI really screwed up when they discontinued Kore.

I still get that excited sound design feeling when I pull our Kore... Maschine is cool and works fine but Kore definitely has the edge for building and tweaking sounds.

    Hi
-kore2 is better in a DAW than Maschine imo , there is no param mapping to do and mutes can be automated and outside patterns the workflow is clearer so i use Maschine vst's as kore sequenced multisounds so i lose multi threading cpu
a kore sound can be audiotracks now
kore midi players and maschine vst's working togethers ,
with my little DAW Stagelight 4 and little hd touchscreen usb alt-mode
i can launch and stop each maschines as clip and record scene changes on the fly in each clip
i use performance preset if i need cpu %

-using maschine 2 standalone with 1 or more kore vst's is good , the GUI is integrated in the mix view
but there is no main automation and no mute automation and no kore hardware automation
in the relative automations in patterns
