    Hi All
Although I bought s61 mk1...went through heartbreak etc...my joy was returned when I simply went back to the masterpiece of Kore 2...still unrivaled...however I like to use my kore 1 controller live and the lcd is starting to get a little hard to read...does anyone know where I can get a replacement...yep I know its hard to replace surface mount but Im happy to pay for that because its the perfect solution...

    Thanks
    M

    Thanks
Had been through that article but doesnt really apply as its being driven by the itsybitsy board...the guy said that he couldnt be bothered figuring out the driver on Kore so he just bought the oled.

    Thanks anyway.
Ive had to give up...just going to use a nanokontrol2 and put a small 7" touchscreen.
For anyone else out there looking...
I use VIP instead but for morphing and more complicated patches that VIP cant touch/handle, I load it as a kore instance and use the vip macro knobs instead.
Its a lot more efficient...seems to have much less cpu hit, very stable and gives me the best of both worlds
VIP does suck in the UI department as you cant force it to load with a 'Live' ui ie a setlist type that Kore excels in but as a compromise...vip performs better as a host so this is the final solution.

vip also allows the one thing kore didnt...a preset containing any type of synth engine etc to change per channel ie from reaktor to absynth to polysix etc

Very interesting , thank you , i wrote to NI and the company who built the device to know how to unmount properly kore (they never replied ) because of dust and crazy pots ; at least i see it's possible . The idea of midi bluetooth is fine also . I bought a kore2 , i keep it always in the box but if i can clean kore 1 for my second PC , it's nice .
