Has anyone attended the Kore Days workshop tour? I am curious how those are going and if you found them exciting and informative. I have not had a chance to participate in these events and wonder how others have found them. :)

    Thanks,

I was wondering the same thing myself, Jonathan.
I'm half- tempted to go down to Chicago this weekend for the one at Sam Ash...

The KORE presentation in Los Angeles was interesting enough for me to want to buy KORE. I ignored at the time the presenter's computer crashing (which he blamed on its being an older Mac G4 laptop), but considering all the problems I've had with KORE since buying it . . .

I went to the one in Guitar Center, NY

    It was very boring...
It did not make me want to buy the Kore.
The guy new how to use it, but come on...
It dragged, no cool demos, no cool grooves, no cool sounds,

Demoing it through 2 lousy studio monitors.
Can't Native Instruments request a decent sound system with some , ummpff, some bass,

Ive been to way better seminars... oh, and no air conditioning...

I attended one at Sweetwater. It was a joke. It lasted all of 1 hour, the NI rep's computer crashed once from Kore Freeze Up, and it was more of a sales pitch. I was lead to believe that it was to be more of a workshop, but I felt like I was in a bad info-mercial. It slices it dices, and so on. The only good thing about it was they did give away a Komplete three bundle.
