So how is everyone doing now the end of the month and the end of soundpacks looms VERY large?

I just got my Komplete 7 upgrade on Friday (that I ordered on the 29th of last month) and registered - hope NI is quick to send out the email voucher so I can pick-up 4 packs before they become dust in the wind...

i would be quite happy to stay away if you guys stopped having a go at Maschine users and anyone who defends Maschine and the people that use it. so if you stop with your little gentleman's club where you boast about being 'real musicians/composers' then i will be happy to keep away.

and my love of good dance music has nothing to do with me wanting to be down wiv da yoof. i just happen to like the manipulation of electronic and sampled sounds, and for my tastes some of the best exponents of that style either make dance music or a style of music that has come out of that scene.

so, if you guys stop with your snidey put downs of music made with 'beats' then i am out of here.

maybe i should start an anti-prog thread on the Maschine Forum - only kidding.

did you hear the rumour that NI are going to make this add on for Guitar Rig called Neu Punkor, which basically quantizes and auto tunes any guitar strums into 3 chords.

what is the world coming to software companies are actually releasing stuff that makes it easier for non-classically trained 'so called' musicians to make music.

I actually love and appreciate all styles of music as long as I feel that it has "integrity"...

I know that's a fairly "open" parameter,but I do believe that we can all understand when music is put together with some brain power and integrity...

Yes - I came out of a music crematorium - but I was a songwriter and a player long before I went into the place and I have been involved with writing,playing and producing many styles of music all over this globe - including in your fair city of London back in the day...

But the weather and the food - apart from the Indian and the Hard Rock Burgers - was absolute crap !

FWIW - One of my old Linn 9000's - a pre-cursor to Maschine - used to live at Sarm West studios along wiith Trevor and the crew so you would have heard it on many tracks on your radio...

I used to enjoy programming the Linn 9000s and the OB 8's...They were my favourites..Serious Thump !

So put up with our cheap shots and we'll put up with you and your Maschine 'cos you may find that we are a lot more open minded and a little smarter than you think
