Wow that easy? Thanks so much, I'm indebted for your help. is there any way to read multiple banks of presets, or is it a question of choosing a bank, then import, move on to next bank and import as I've been doing?
Yes, the only complication might be if there is more than one snapshot list, say for fx and instrument, then you need to go into the instrument selector (in the above image it's the selector box just under the search tab where it says the instrument name) and pick the one you want, in most cases it will be the ensemble or top level instrument.
Thanks again, listen, if you want some help spicing up your website, I can help with that as a thank you for all your help.
Kymeia. I've been trying to get my old gear up and running again .Use my Kore with Kore 2 software along my maschine 1 with maschine 2 software. been at it for about two weeks. So many bumps in the road and roadblocks but i have found many of your posts helpful. I downloaded your komplete kontrol Kore patch and it has some awesome potential. My Komplete 11 is on its way and wasnt sure what to do...my last install was 7 for the .ksd files...I have komplete 8 which i've stayed away from since it has been such a frustrating balancing act..
So i downloaded your great komplete kontrol template to try out. I can open it or drag and drop it in. Whenever i save it as my own version (with a specific sound setup) it reopens with none of the mappings intact. I've trying saving as etc to get this thing to save but nada. Has it died due to new komplete kontrol versions? am i just lame and doing something obviously wrong? id love to be able to use this since i just updated to komplete 11. And after more hair pulling I've discovered the problem. You really need to be a rocket scientist to keep ALL OF NI save formats straight. I had saved as a .ksd which is what the file originally was instead of a .kpe. after a few more tests I realized I had saved a couple of .kpe but looking for them in the wrong folder. ok. crisis solved. lol
The original KK template was my attempt at a 'one for all' type of template but I have now created a set of templates for different plugins because unfortunately the mappings change too much between instruments, the original one seems OK for the first couple of pages but then it doesn't always map consistently.
What we have here today is Vacuum Pro - one of those rare synths in which all parameters can be mapped. Good stuff.
Here's my template for Waves Element 2. Believe me everyone, if you're still using Kore now, this thing is exactly what you're looking for. I can't really imagine a more comprehensive and realistic hands-on interface in the vst realm - this one truly feels (and sometimes even sounds!) like the real thing. The pages after 8 are setup to access the sequencer by pressing ctrl+button1 then up arrow and the mod matrix with ctrl+button8 then down arrow.
Here's a preliminary template for XILS-LAB PolyKB III anyway - but automation is not yet added for filter type buttons as they can't be learned yet - everything else can be mapped except those https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5646041/Kore Templates/2016/PolyKBIII template.ksd.zip
Now that OBXD has a bank loader it is possible to import patches into Kore so I have made a template for it: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5646041/Kore Templates/OBXD/OBXD template.ksd nice thing is everything maps! and imported all the KVR community patches using it - categorised too https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5646041/Kore Templates/OBXD/OB-Xd.zip
Very nice! Is your library over the 100 000 mark? Mine's rather small, most of my synths can't import, I probably have more fx patches than sounds. Well, I think the full Nerve template will be posted quite soon. Those with a Maschine can start taking pictures and writing up an ad.
Oh yes For plugins that don't batch import I just import my favourites one by one - still enables me to organise them
Nerve.kpe finally released. https://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/nerve-kpe.313714/ Because some things just deserve their own thread.
