    EW: Yes please move it.

Kymeia: Helix responds to program change messages, so you can scroll through the presets with a midi controller.

    It took about 4 hours.

The rapture template works awesome. Do you know if there is one for dimension pro?

Just an update - now every single Poseidon bank is converted to KORE Sound format including params and attributes. There's also a bank of my own patches included. Just check out the Virsyn forum:

    here for all banks

    here for mine

You can either put it in your user folder for KORE Sounds and rescan the database (just select to scan the user folder in options/database)

or load it using the file/open dialogue and then resave it into your user folder (which should be in your "My Documents/Native Instruments/Shared Content/Sounds folder)

Template for White Noise Doppelmangler with added morph squares mapped to the mangle FX

    http://www.fingermarks.co.uk/music/WNADoppelmanglerksd.zip

Since KORE 2 is able to retain mappings even when you switch fx this should work with every preset so even though Doppelmangler can't be batch imported this should serve as a basis for saving your favourite patches as KORESounds

(uses lots of CPU but fun)

Template for NuSofting Modelonia - a sophisticated but very playable physically modelled instrument. The template is made in Kore 1.

    http://www.fingermarks.co.uk/music/Modeloniaksd3.zip

I've also included 5 Sounds made in KORE 2 with 8 morphable variations each (so 40 variations in total). These are meant to be used as examples (or just usable Sounds) rather than as templates for importing banks - I would not advise using the ones with morphs set up for that as in Modelonia's case the morphs need to be set up individually as so much depends on the physical models used - a "one size fits all" batch import will not give good results musically.

In many respects using Modelonia you can create complex physically modelled sounds and with KORE 2 adding the ability to morph between models the result is something that is really interesting musically. These Sounds enable you to really morph between flutes and strings, horns and even a sitar - it's far more than could be achieved just by crossfading between samples or even by using additive resynthesis. The CPU usage is pretty reasonable too.

    One question:
If I would like to upload a bunch of Presets saved as koresounds
(say, for example the whole Spectrasonics Atmosphere Factory
Presets), do I have to prior ask the company for permission,
or is this simply legitimate ?
Could this cause trouble ? (as long, as I don't post Sounds,
which are reserved for registered users of a software)

In situations where I have done that (e.g. I did the same for Virsyn with Poseidon and Camel Audio with several of their instruments and fx) I asked the company first as a courtesy and ended up linking to their websites rather than posting directly here (some of the Camel stuff is also just for registered users).

Must admit Atmos ksd's would be useful as the patch management in Atmos is dire (though it's not possible to assign stuff to controls sadly)

    Meanwhile...

a Kore2 Template for the lovely Atomic VST by AlgoMusic

    Download here:
    http://www.patcharena.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=61&func=fileinfo&id=710

    contains:

a Mainpage with Controlls for the Sequence and the Arpeggio Modes,
including a "Mute all" Button, an "ARP on/off" Button and a "Rhythm on" Button,
as well as a Master-"Gate" knob

Pages for Pitch, Mute, Velocity and Gate for all 16 Steps in the Sequencer

Pages for the Synth include Oscillators, Amp and Filter (incl.Envelopes),
LFO 1+2 (with Buttons for changing the waveforms), Sub Oscillator,
Effects Amount and a Master Page

Use the "Import" Function in Kore to save all provided Presets

Be sure to try the Midi Out Function of Atomic, driving some other Plugin
This works great in Kore for some nice layered Sounds
If you just want to use the sequences in Atomic with other Plugins, turn
down the Volume of the included synth in Atomic

a little hint: there has been reported some problems with more than one instances
of Atomic on Multicore Systems (seems to be a Synth Edit Bug). Check the AlgoMusic
Forum on KVR for a workaround

I'm still on a SingleCore Machine, but also encountered a problem, changing from a
Koresound with one Instance of Atomic to a Koresound with two Instances of Atomic,
there my System freezes. A Workaround in my case is, that I first unload the single
Koresound, and after that load the Multisound.

Nonetheless, Atomic in Kore is pure fun for me, and hopefully also for you
    ---
    And another one...

a Kore2 Template for Sugar Bytes Effectrix VST,

    Download here:
    http://www.patcharena.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=61&func=fileinfo&id=709

    contains
    a Masterpage and
one page per fx (14 pages)

I've mapped all Parameters, which were available
by the Automation of this plugin.

BTW, the Batchimport function of Kore works with Effectrix,
but you have to repeat it several times.

open the plugin GUI, go to the Preset Menu, select the first sound in the first preset folder,
import, then select the first sound in the next preset folder, import, and so on...
So after 5 Imports (with Version 1.2 of Effectrix with 5 Factorybanks)
you should have all 94 Presets available.

    As always, have fun.

Updated the Zebra 2 template with an extra couple of envelopes.

I also added an example combi patch with morphing effects - you will need Reaktor for the combi though as it uses a nice Mutron alike patch from the Reaktor library. It's still not possible to morph Zebra's own presets for some reason but at least there are musical workarounds.
