Here's an updated Zip with the templates I've made for Kore 2 to date except for a few I made using Wusik VM as a shell (to get round the fxp/b load problem). Most are finished but a few are not 100% - I tend to focus on performance features so many have just the filters and oscs set up rather than every single knob or button. The ones with a + are also set up with morphing squares which can have some interesting effects. http://www.fingermarks.co.uk/music/Kore_templates. zip Anamark.ksd CamelAudio Alchemy + CamelAudio Cameleon CamelAudio CamelPhat 3 CamelAudio CamelSpace Claw Discovery Exciton 2 DiscoDSP Vertigo 2 Access Virus Ti Firebird Foorius Hypersonic 2 IL Ogun Terratec Komplexer Legacy Cell + Modelonia + Prophet V Rhino 2 Scanned Synth Pro 2 IL Sytrus VemberAudio Surge u-he Filterscape u-he FilterScapeVA u-he TripleCheese u-he MFM2 u-he Zebra 2_3 u-he Zebralette WhiteNoise Additive WhiteNoise Doppelmangler WhiteNoise ZeroVector --- Plus here are some additional patches - these are all attempts at morphing patches based on the above templates - there are a few for Korg Legacy Cell and Modelonia (these are really interesting as they morph between different physical models), a whole bunch of very weird ones for ImageLine Ogun and a couple of combis made with Zebra and a rather special one for Hypersonic 2 but people will need Reaktor and Guitar Rig as well for those (I'm not sure if the engine versions will do or not): http://www.fingermarks.co.uk/music/morphers.zip
Hello, I have created KORE templates for Albino 3 and BLUE from Rob Papen. With these templates you can edit Albino 3 (layer 1) and BLUE. You can find the templates overhere: Albino 3: http://www.kvraudio.com/banks.php?s=list&what=364&format=&order=date BLUE: http://www.kvraudio.com/banks.php?s=list&what=1873&format=&order=date Fun, thePostman
MicroTonic Template (Comprehensive) Here's a KSD for Sonic Charge's MicroTonic. Every param that you can't control via MIDI keyboard with the default settings I mapped. It took a while, but its worth it. Its a total blast to control MicroTonic with knobs. Enjoy. -jbone
Thanx, folks, Keep it going (Just wanted to give a little feedback, think everybody likes to have a little response to the work involved) --- to the thePostman: I like the layout for the Albino template, but couldn't load the plugin. Did you created your template with an AU-Version of Albino, or the like ? But as I said, nice layout.
Thank you, Kymeia Purchased Alchemy yesterday (wasn't that fast with it like you ), seems to be a really nifty synth (though I have to dig a lot deeper into it's possibilities). But your template is really nice, especially the Mapping of the Remix Pad to the Kore 2 Morphing Pads. I was not aware, that this would be able. (seems to me, that all those plugins use different Implementations, how they recall presets and parameter values)
Thanks - glad you like it. Latest update to the Zebra 2 template. I've managed to overcome the difficulties mapping the XY's by rebuilding the whole template in Kore 1 (which doesn't have the bug that made it difficult). So now the XY's are fully mapped and this also means there is now a Kore 1 compatible version too for anyone who kept that version. In addition with the help of justin3am from KVR the Kore 2 version also has an extra Performance level with morphing controls mapped to Zebra's Performance tab which is great fun - especially if you have the hardware controller. Both versions can be downloaded here: http://www.fingermarks.co.uk/music/Zebra_Kore_templates.zip --- Since I've done templates for all other u-he products I'm now completing the collection with a complete set of Kore templates for all Uhbiks so far. Made in Kore v1 so compatible with all versions. http://www.fingermarks.co.uk/music/Uhbik_templates.zip
Two .ndp files for Oddity and MiniMonsta I did these as a result of Losan's post. I love how the NI plugs are neatly mapped with the two EA pages on the user button and then toggling the plugin button to give you nicely laid out controls for various parts of the synths. I did a little digging and realized with a little time I could tweak the default settings so that other plugins behaved similarly upon launch. These are basically text files that I opened and edited in text edit. Nothing special - just time consuming. The end result are two tweaked defaults for Oddity and MiniMonsta. These are not .ksd files, they are .ndp files which load when lunching a plugin. On my Mac they are located here: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Shared Content/Controller Pages/Kore Controller The MiniMonsta EA pages remain unchanged. When you toggle the plugin button you now get 5 defined pages (Main/Osc 1 & Noise/Osc 2 & 3/Filter/VCA & Delay) with the controls all nicely laid out and arranged. The Oddity EA pages were tweaked ever so slightly to better suit me. Now when toggling the plugin button you get six nicely arranged pages (Main/VCO 1/VCO 2/VCFilter/Envelope Generators/LFO-S&H) with the parameters neatly laid out. Like I said these were done on my Mac with the VST versions. I have also included VST versions for the PC that should work but I am not able to test them. Gforce names there plugins differently for Mac/PC versions apparently. If they PC versions don't seem they might need to be renamed to match the name of the plugin. Let me know if anyone has any success with these. They are working great here and hopefully someone else will get some use out of them too.
Interesting - pity I don't have these. I wish save template as ndp was possible in Kore (or a dedicated ndp editor). I made a few attempts at editing some but it's tedious and so easy to get something wrong and cause a crash
Just curious... What's this bug you're talking about, and how does Kore 1 behave different ? --- Too bad I also don't have these plugins, would really like to know, if there are differences between the Mac VSTs and the PC VSTs. Mean, since I'm on Windows, will a template, that I create, also work with a VST plugin on a Mac ? Anyone, who could comment on this ?
Sorry - a quick off topic question - Hey losan, how does Alchemy do CPU-wise in comparison to the NI synths? I've had Cameleon for a long time and was thinking of "upgrading" . . . Regards.
Have you tried mapping Zebra's XY's in Kore 2? (latest versions at least). They map fine for the life of the project but if you try and save the ksd, then close and reopen the patch they disappear. Kore 1 doesn't seem to have that problem and once saved in the patch they stay even if I resave it in Kore 2.
As far as the .ndp files I don't think there are differences. The just need to be named to match the name of the plugin. GForce seems to name there vst plugins differently on PC and Mac. I felt the same way when I saw you posted the impOSCar one since I don't have it. I did download the demo and try it out. I just had to rename the .ndp file you posted to match he exact name of the impOSCar demo and it opened fine. That's why I'm assuming they will open fine as long as the names match.
I'll answer this one- I'm also one of the Camel forum mods. Alchemy's fairly light on the CPU for what it does; overall, it's pretty much on the same level as Absynth is as far as CPU usage goes. It's definitely a worthwhile upgrade to Cameleon =) ew
Ah, o.k., don't have Zebra, but might try that with the demo. But there ARE differences between both versions, for example I got z3ta and the z3ta virus mode. Kore 2 don't like more than one dll-file of the same plugin. Everytime I tried to load the virus mod, instead the regular z3ta instance would show up. But I could save the virus mod sounds (as multisounds) in Kore 1, and now they even work in Kore 2 (opening the virus mod correctly). Sometimes things are a little strange... --- Seems you're right, also found some information about compatibility in the old Kore 1 Manual (which I have forgotten) regarding the use of VST plugins on Mac vs. PC systems. So one does not need to worry about it. Thanks --- like ew says, but just wanted to add, that the CPU usage also depends, how much sources, different synthesis methods (at the same time), voices, FX etc. one patch uses. Alchemy is still pretty new to me, been so far only through the sounds, which came with the demo and those I downloaded from the KVR forum, and except for one or two patches, which were quite heavy, I was o.k. with my 6 year old 2,5 Ghz Single Core system so far  And again, like ew mentioned, since you already own Cameleon, this is a no-brainer (never liked Cameleon's sound, Alchemy is really way above it).
f**k, my StylusRMX template is completly broken with the latest update. Even worse, I couldn't even create a new one, it just doesn't work. Damn, can't everything be compatible... Sometimes I really hate all this virtual stuff...
This is a patch bank I made for Zebra based on patches I made in Kore. Black and white and red In the zip file you'll find 280 H2Ps, 35 KSDs, and 35 KPEs. There are 8 H2Ps (Zebra patch files) for each Kore performance corresponding to snapshots A-H in Kore. Special thanks to aMUSEd at KVR for his Zebra KSD templates.
I send an email to spectrasonics about this problem, it seems to affect also the novation automap, Glenn from spectrasonics said it will be fix in the next update on the spectrasonic mailing-list. I regret it's not possible to learn, in Kore, the Variations arrows. Will ask for it
Thanks for the reply, also tried the new update v. 1.7.1 today, but the automation in StylusRMX is still seriously broken. (and not only with Kore) I posted a bug report to Spectrasonics about it.
ew, Thanks for the Alchemy info - listened to a couple of the demo sounds, confirmed your CPU observations and I was sold - now a happy owner making Koresounds!
