Hallo all, I have komplete7 and I started wandering around with the sounds in kore. But it can't seem to load rektor patches. So I noticed that kore installs its own reaktor version (which is prior to 5.5.1) in the shared components folder. I thought "maybe it can' play them because its version is not updated". I put in the shared folder an updated version of reaktor... Now it seems to load the patches (the loading time is a little longer) but once loaded, the patch won't produce any sound... Am I missing something or is it a Kore problem? Kore is a good idea, but it is quite useless for me if I can't use reaktor patches which are the largest part of my sound database... Thank you very much.
Ps obviously my reaktor library is in its default install location in the documents folder (pc)

My kore setup finds reaktor, but alot of the sounds won't play. Only reaktor patches from soundpacks such as reaktor spark and prism will play

Are we talking about Kore Player or Kore 2?

-Kore Player will work as described by oscardvine.

-Kore 2 should pick up all your sounds; have you updated to the latest version?

We are talking about the Kore Player (latest version).
It is not able to load or play any of the Reaktor libraries (Prism, Spark or The Finger) but it sees them. It doesn't find normal libraries such as Carbon or Oki Computer sounds (is it supposed to find them?)

No- it's not supposed to find those. The player only sees and loads .ksds tagged by NI for use in the player.

Check the paths in Reaktor's preferences; do it with Reaktor standalone. Reboot and rescan your plugins.

Thank you ew for your reply. The thing is, all reaktor sounds works in stand-alone mode of kore 2. but only those from soundpacks works in kore as a plug-in

i have same problem in kore 2, after installing komplete 7 KSD add on, Kore finds all my absynth, massive, fm8 etc. sonds but they dont play.
I get a yellew ? mark in the "sound passby area" which means (i think)that Kore 2 coulld not load the plug-in

Is Kore looking in the proper plugin folder? Remember Kore's 32 bit- you need the 32 bit plugin versions of those installed.

Start up Reaktor in standalone and make sure the path to the factory library's correct in Reaktor's preferences. Reboot your system, start Kore and rescan your plugins.
