So I was given a Kore controller and a license for it by a friend.

I was in love with the ability to play all of my expansion packs through my keyboard using an interface.

Now I need a serial to the Kore Player itself and I cant get one now.

Is someone, who doesnt use the program, willing to do a license/serial transfer for $10.00??

A license would be worth more than $10, though. Try to fish on KvR Marketplace, there are no sales allowed in this section of the forum.

does the Kore controller work with the Kore Player, or with the FULL Kore software?

I thought it didn't - just the full version?

Hm. I am actually not sure, I never had the Kore Player installed. :D But now that you mention it, I guess it doesn't make sense... if you have the controller, you get the full software with it, why would you use it with Player. Right...

Exactly - the player version was just so people without the hardware could run Kore libarries

    Thanks. will do.

Question, the main reason I like the Kore is im using it as a interface for my korg keyboard to generate my kontrol sounds with use of my sequencer. I need an interface that will give me full use of my sound library. Is there any thing like the Kore in that respect?

There's New Sonic Arts Freestyle, which is incidentally created by main developer of Kore 2 - James Walker Hall.

    I stand corrected, then!

(You don't see me typing this very often, haha. :p)

You say you got a license with the controller. What license is that? If it's a Kore 2 license your friend needs to unregister it with NI and then you can use it to register Kore 2. The software CD came with the package unless it's a replacement controller.
If the CD is lost NI will probably give you a download link for the installer. The updates can be found in Support>Downloads>Legacy Updates
