I open core player and when I try to load an instrument from the drawbar 57 folder , it always shows me that are missing files...I find it manually and then it works...
When I close and reopen it, again the same problem.
I see that this problem does not happen to my compilation volume soundpack or the kore player sounds...just the 57 drawbar instrument folder (all the instruments in the folder)...
What can I do in order to prevent this and not have to find the missing files manually every time....?
    Thanks

    Kore soundpacks issues

OK...I have three soundpacks in the free version of Kore player: Kore player soundpack, compilation I and '57 drawbar soundpack.

Yesterday I couldnt open any file because an error message was appearing telling me that the kds file does not exist.
I reinstalled the kore player (i did not know how to uninstall first...) and now I am facing two issues:

The sounds for Koreplayer soundpack and Compilation soundpack appear doubled. The bottom duplicate works fine and loads normally, the top duplicate shows the same message with before.
The 57 drawbar soundpack does not work at all. When I click on one instrument of the 57 soundpack the same error message appears.

I am a little confused because I have multiple drives installed in my mac and I see that the path to soundpacks have all three soudpacks' ksd files....
    My two question:
    1) How can I erase the duplicate instruments for the two soundpacks
2)why the 57 drawbar sounpack does not work
    Thanks

Try running Koreplayer in standalone and rebuild the database.

I am running it in standalone only.
How do you build the database...it's not like kontakt
    Thanks

by the way I located the drawbar ksd files...they are in the same folder with the other two soundpacks...this is weird.
Please give me directions how to build the database in kore player
    thanks

Check and see if the path to your sample content's correct in the player's file menu. Correct it and reboot your system.

Sorry I don't have the Player but I just assumed it had a Files->Options menu to set up the application preferences. My Options dialog box looks like this.

    Correct; there isn't.

What you need to do is reinstall the soundpack; using a disk image to reinstall your system doesn't work with some of the Korepacks. The OS install date's part of the systemID used for activating.

    a question;
the path would lead to the ksd files or to the samples?
can you please tell me where I have to end the path?
    Thanks

It's to the samples. And, the path should end in Kore 2 Sample Content.

I purchased the 57 drawbar online from native-instruments as a download and I do not know where to find it in my system...
    please help

    I don't get it...
    ---
    oh...i forgot...two things:

the file menu "set the sample content path" gives me two options: kore 2 and kore player

The error message I get from the 57 drawbar loading attempt is: error loading from macintosh / the path goes here". the ksd file does not exist....

I am sure if I reinstall the soundpack it will solve the problem, but how can I find it now....

If you registered '57 Drawbar, go the updates page here on the site; it had an update at one time so it appears here:

    http://www.native-instruments.com/?id=updates

Uncheck the box that says hide previously downloaded files and look for '57 Drawbar Organ. Download the 1.0.1 update and run it.

In the future, backup your downloaded installers. That's why there's that blurb to back them up on the download page after you first bought the soundpack.

    Kore player and soundpacks

I have a problem with my free version kore player and soundpacks since I upgraded to snow leopard.
Let me explain as clear as possible.

After I upgraded to snow leopard I restored my hard drive from a time machine drive in my mac pro.

I have purchased the 57 drawbar organ soundpack and I also had the free compilation I soundpack along with the kore player soundpack (which comes with the kore player ).

The kore player was not responding so I decided to reinstall it. Now I am facing two problems. The soundpacks' isntruments for compilation I and kore player appear twice. The top one when I click does not work and says the ksd file of the specific instrument does not exist. The bottom instrument for every doubled pair works fine.
The drawbar soundpack instruments do not appear twice but when you click on any of those (ten) you get the same message (error loading the specific file" and that the ksd file does not exist.

I check my folders and all the ksd files are in the right place and also all the samples for the soundpacks are in the right place.
I tried to reinstall the 57 drawbar soundpack but when I click "install" an error message appears saying that the kore 2 sample content folder cannot be found and I cannot install the soundpack.

My questions: 1)why the two soundpacks' instruments (compilation and kore player) are doubled in the interface and 2) why the 57 drawbar does not work.
I have spent all day from Friday to try combinations and move folders here and there but the result is the same.
By the way, I try to set the content path from the file menu to "kore 2 sample content". I restarted the kore player and the mac....nothing!
    Please help
I am so tired with this issue...
Thank you so much in advance.

sorry for opening a new thread but I wanted to be more clear of the problem and explain to you exactly what is going on.
    Thanks for understanding.

    1) I gave you some wrong info, sorry to say. My path ends in Kore 2 sample content, but that's because I had Kore 2 installed; then, that becomes the default path.
    2) What I would do is manually uninstall the player and soundpacks:
    http://www.native-instruments.com/k...lling+NATIVE+INSTRUMENTS+Software+in+Mac+OS+X
    Now, reinstall.
    3) I've merged the three threads you've opened dealing with the same subject. Don't open multiple threads again. Thanks.

    I am desperate...
    ---
I uninstalled it...I am checking though my directories and i see that the ksd files are still in my drive for compilation I and drawbar soundpack.
    is this normal?
or i should delete them manually?
    thanks

Remove them. The purpose behind a manual uninstall is to give you a clean slate to begin with.
