Waiting for this baby to download, while I wait I was wondering. I have Massive, Reactor 5, Absynth 4 , FM8 and B4. One of my problems is I work off a Powerbook G4, the max memory is 2G so if I use Reactor and Massive at the same time it sucks the hell out of my cpu even at the eco setting in Massive. Is it possible that I will be able to access sounds from the rest of my NI apps thru the Kore Player without the demanding cpu load I would get if I opened each app individually? next question would be how many instances of the player do you need for 4 sounds 4? I guess I'll find out hands on and by the manual.

After going thru KP and reading the manual I see the following:
    1. If you have other NI apps you cannot use their sounds in K2
    2. Only ONE sound at a time per instance of the player
    3. Only way to utilize all NI app sounds is Kore 2
    4. There are some decent sounds (nice drum kit) and a few leads, basses, and others. For the price (ZERO) and to invest 60 u.s. per sample pack isn't bad.

My only question is will Kore 2 see the Kore player soundpack files and let you edit them?

Kore sees the Korepack files just fine; I installed all of them on my machine yesterday to make sure.

If you have the full version of the app whose engine's being used (for example, R5 for the Best of Reaktor Korepack), yes; you can edit them. Otherwise, no.

I read your post and since I do have the included instruments I was trying to find the sounds to load into them to edit. Where are they hidden?
Also, most of the sounds I've tried only show the Kore Player icon--how can you tell which engines are being used?
