Hi all! I know I am probably behind (I haven't been working on my music in a while), but I have a question about Kore player. I have a few songs I recorded using a couple instrument sounds that came with the last version of Kore player. I cannot re-register the player now since its discontinued, but i still need those sounds. Is there a way for me to open those sounds in a different player, or otherwise, still be able to use them? Im sort of new to this. If anyone can help i would appreciate it.
Only a small amount of koresounds can be opened by Absynth 4/5, Massive, FM8 or GR4.The Kore Player download is here:http://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/discontinued-product/If you need your serials see above: click support > downloads >full product downloads
thanks for this. I have just downloaded the kore player from this link. it does run (as a stand alone, mac OS X 10.10.5 ). but I can't load any presets. it keeps telling me that the files do not exist (eventhough they actually do exist). thanks for your help!
Hmmm, are they in that exact location? Have you tried reinstalling Compilation 1? Check permissions of these folders?
That's the soundpack that Ice Cave Voices is in. Does it come with the Kore Player installer? I don't remember. It's free, so you can google for another installer of it, see if that works.
Right click on the Ice Cave Voices patch in the Kore browser and select show in folder to see if the file is actually in the place Kore thinks it is.What you have here is not actually the files but just database entries, if the file locations don't correspond to where the database entry says they are then you will get this sort of error.
thanks kymeia: right click is not working either. nothing happens when I do that. the preset is at the right spot on the HD (see screenshot with path bllow). I start to believe that it has something to do with my mac OS 10.10.5. on my old mac it is working fine. but I need it on the new mac. ;-)
