    Did you listen to their Taiko Ensemble? Jaw dropping. :)

    I'd bet the first one to require K5 for his creation will be Sample Logic, Joe is always quick making use of the newly provided tools.

    I stare longingly at the store every day. No money until the end of the month, and too many choices :)

    I see Fanfare will be for Kontakt 4, so fortunately not yet. I'm more interested in Rumble eventually, though. I can never get enough drums :)

    UPDATE:

    A few days ago I pre-ordered my Komplete 8 Ultimate Upgrade from Audiomidi.

    As of Saturday night, my credit card has not yet been charged and shipment hasn't begun. This is just as I expected. So I'm figuring that my Komplete will arrive by September 1st as promised by their website.

    By the way, I called Audiomidi on the phone first to have them answer a couple questions for me. For those wishing to know, they told me that the gift certificate is a paper certificate with a code on it for a credit on a future web order.

    Also, they told me that the free shipping is UPS Ground for those of us in the USA. That's a LOT better than Sweetwater, whose free shipping is USPS (U.S. Postal Service), which takes 3 to 5 days longer than UPS or Fed-Ex. If you want UPS Ground from Sweetwater, there is a charge for it. I don't remember, $5, $7, $12....you'd have to check their website and compare.

    I ordered mine as well, but work is pressing at present so even if it turns up late next week as expected it'll be sat in its box until at least 5th Sept so you'll be able to give me some tricks and tips before I can use it in anger :)

    Still no charge to my credit card. I didn't expect one yet anyhow, but was hoping for an early ship date.

    Well, now it's a hope against time that I'll get K8U before the holiday weekend (labor day is Monday here in the US).

    Would be nice to be able to take the three day weekend to play with it. But coming from California, I think it would have to be shipped on Tuesday for it to arrive by Friday.

    I guess I wait and see. :)
