Korg Nano Key?

hallo,
i yust look for a new small midi keyboard. and i find the "korg nano key". somebody have experiance with this. it looks perfect for the maschine.

I have one and it works for me but I am no keyboard player I will say it is easy to use. I do have one key that sticks on me some times but for 50 bucks it does what I need it to do.

you're right the NanoKey is quite small and handy but ...
NanoKey is only an USB-Devise! I thought you need a MIDI-Out to connect Maschine?
I'm not sure if it will work.Check it before buying.
On the other hand, an older MIDI-Keyboard ie. Oxygen 8, PCR-30 etc. would not be so much more expensive and you would have definitely better keys, PitchBend, Mod. etc.

usb devices work fine with maschine. you don't need midi only devices.
you just select your midi input in the preferences in the maschine software. easy.

 

I have the NanoKey... You'll find that if you don't press the keys in exactly the same place on each key when playing, you'll get inconsistent velocity messages. It's a trade off between size and price vs quality.

That said, it'll probably be just fine.

I was so fixed on the MIDI-In that I completely forgot the Pref-Dialog.It works fine-you're right.
I just wanted to help someone and now I'm the one which was helped,great! The law of resonance! It's true.

Maybe you should have a look at the cme m-key. Its jsut a little bit more expensive (around 70,-) but you get a lot more. Its my perfect companion for maschine.
