For those of you that know the krakli name from the land of VSTi, you may be pleased to know that krakli synths are now being developed as Reaktor ensembles. So far I have ported a version of S3 and have just completed an RM type synth called RMXR. I am enjoying working with Reaktor but am still identifying if there is an active community in much the same as in the VST world.

Oh yes, thanks for doing this. Definitely would be interested, particularly as I am on Mac now so can't use Synthedit stuff. Especially if your ported Richman or RMXL or Cygnus.

Thanks, RMXR uses similar architecture to Richman. You can find it in the synthesizers hybrid section in the user community library..

Cool news. I've enjoyed Krakli synths in the past but, since moving to Mac, i only have access to some of them, clumsily, on a Receptor.

How have you found the porting/building experience in Reaktor vs SynthEdit?

    Awesome news!

    My staple synth is SFUM.

I like the StringZ and Cygnus a lot too :-D

Not too bad.. There are probably more similarities than differences. If I can get my head around using core then it should be even easier to 'migrate' concepts across.

Some synths will never be ported though, in some cases they are probably not worth the effort, in others (eg Cygnus) there are personal reasons, such as who they were originally developed with.

So any suggestions for the next port, or should I try something brand new?
