On my system, every time I load Krypt, it starts off with some VERY loud audio glitching/banging/whatever.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

And is there a recommended way to fix it?

i have the same loud disturbing noise on loading the beast.Jinsai. No clue about where it comes from
Better to know it in advance if headphones hooked up or you'll be akufened for a week or two !!! Any bug issue??
Well, apart from that, it ROCKS.

I'm guessing it's initializing that's making the bang, but I'm not sure.

You can always turn off the audio engine before loading it...

for me it just plays the first note. it happens when i restart the clock too. it's the first drum hit with whatever reverb and delay.

yeah, im thinkiing its a R5 init thing - did it happen in R4 (or, did you use R4)?

there are bugs in krypt since R5. the solo voice thing in the fx section does not work anymore.

btw, Krypt makes a big noise when it opens up with R4 as well.

I've had this problem as well. Also the reverb on a lot of snaps turns into feedback very quickly and I have to pull the plug on it.And ANOTHER thing, i spend ages building up a pattern that I like and suddenly for no apparent reason the bloody thing resets, and I lose all my hard work.My poor mouse pressing fingers. I've mentioned these things before, but no-one else seems to have.I wonder is there any chance of the 2 EI volumes being optimised for R5 and having these bugs fixed?

yeah, i HATE how they dont update their stuff very often.

krypt often starts feeding back on me as well, although i noticed there is some sort of limiter on the feedback, since it doesnt get as insane as it could in some structures.

one more R5 bug i noticed now in krypt - the random patterns in the randomizer isntrument dont seem to work right for me - the patterns wont get smaller, only larger. i could have screwed with the structure and accidentally saved the original file, though (i dont think i did, but...).

thats one thing that has interested me, i understand EI2 is standalone, but do you also get reaktor ensembles of the stuff aswell? if so arent you able to go in and slowly figure out whats wrong? i do realise that if you are able to go into the structures, they would be very very very complicated, but still....
ah just re-read kid_sputniks last paragraph. ignore.

I reckon the krypt start bang originates from the inf norm module in the module called out. I could be wrong, i could be right.

that sounds like the normalizer/limiter used on the reverb output to prevent feedback from getting out of control. i wouldnt doubt that to be it either.

EI2xt is standalone, its a different package to EI2, the latter is Reaktor ensembles.
