I am running Tractor 3 on an HP Compaq nx6325. I have Audio Konrol and Traktor Kontrol X1 running on the machine also. The processor is an AMD Turion 64 x2. After installing the drivers and Traktor, I have set the latency settings to every different setting that is available and I still get intermittent crackling. I have changed the USB cable on both the soundcard and Traktor control.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get the crackle to stop?

    Thanks!

I have the same issue. The problem only occurs when I have my Audio4DJ and Kontrol X1 plugged in at the same time. The Audio 4 alone is fine, and the Kontrol X1 alone is fine. Perhaps the USB bus just can't handle having two devices like that going at the same time?

Edit: USB was my issue. Following the steps under the heading "Disable power saving option for USB ports" on the following page solved my issue:

TWDsje is right. You probably have too much strain on your USB bus.

    Thanks!

The tweeks worked like a charm.:D It seems the external hard drive I have was also causing a lot of CPU activity and unfortunately I have a smaller internal hard drive (80 gig). Guess I won't be able to port as much music as I want:confused:

    Thanks again!

i have the same problem with bad audio noises since i have installed my new two X1 Controller. With one Xone 1D and the audio 8 i didn´t had this problem, just with my audio 8 and two of the Controllers. The saving options for USB ports are activated. So, what else can i do?
