I have been trying devise creative ways to make up for the vocador's latency issues. When I use a sample in in tape import A and trigger it via midi, it has noticable latency. Meaning: If my sequencer is set to 100bpm and the sample is 100 bpm it will be noticably out of sync. Is there a latency option from within the vocator where I can adjust that? Or, is there a better way to deal with this issue? Presently, I copy samples to "samples" within the vocator library in my apps folder and then load them into the tape input A in the vocador. I notice resolution impacts latency, but it is still off no matter what I do so far...

There's two ways you can trim down latency with Vokator.

    1) Select the Live mode (the live button on the top right)
    2) Change the number of bands to 256 or 128 instead of the default 512 (the dropdown next to the sample rate).

thanks, EW, I figured that out after I posted my thread. So, there is no way to achieve zero latency with the device, huh? Oh well, too bad.

No, there isn't- which should be obvious when you think about it. The only CPU efficient way of analyzing the bands is to do it in consecutive samples; that is, one sample per band. You're doing that with two sources. Add in any input latency if you're using an external sound source and add the analysis of the output wave latency, and you can see why it will never be zero latency.
