If you look at the footer of that webpage, you will see the following text: "Traktor® is a registered trademark of Native Instruments GmbH." It's the only reference to Traktor on that page, so it seems like Denon wants to include support for it, but it hasn't officially happened yet. If Traktor is dragging their feet to support this, they just need to move forward and release a "D1".

Yes you are right. But for Traktor Pro to get support, it will take one or two years. Development is going soooo sloooow. :)

For one LC6000 I can get a S4 MK3. Ok the Jog's are bigger but in all I don't see really a benefit for me. A LC6000M would be interesting.

Looks like Traktor is a little footnote now lol.

At least we know it will receive footnote support.

If not I’ll try to map it.

Looks like part of the target market are the ddj 1000 users.

    What a nice drawing lmao

If you look at digitaldjtips and crossfader videos you see them have it setup with the pioneer.

    Traktor support is coming though.

If you watch the crossfader video one of the supported hardware listed to be an add on with was the kontrol s3. And there is ‘rumours’ of Traktor support.

The might mean a Traktor update might still be a little way off. If it was close there would’ve been something to report other than hints and guesses.

I remember reading here that the next update would be a major one.
Maybe we'll finally see both the LC and the SC/SCM support.

I think inmusic put money on the table for this one. The campaign says it all.

I have no idea why Native hasnt been all over this with working with DenonDJ to make this happen. Traktor is being left behind. Yesterdays news.

Considering that a full working unit was leaked about half a year ago one can’t help but raise an eyebrow.

If you look an unboxing for the unit you’ll see that the logos for 4 brands of software printed on the box. There could’ve been a Traktor logo on the box too.

Supporting the SC5000 would have been a no-brainer, too. That unit was released over four years ago. And Serato HID support was/is poor.

Amazing. Crazy to think this comes in 2021. We should be on the MK6 by now. The day it supports traktor I'm getting a few.

What you are writing, event that we don't like, is the sad truth.

You can be sure, to support new gear is not a use case for Traktor Pro. :(

Good catch on the footnote. But I have to see go believe.
Mapping it with TSI will NOT make the cut. Too much latency

Update: at 6:21 they say S3 is supported
Don't really see the point of such a limitations. Why not direct traktor support? With any mixer etc

If you are using a mixer with 4 channel audio interface, you can probably use 4 of the denons with Traktor. The DJM-900 is listed because serato and traktor officially support it.

I think the limitations seem to be regarding two channel controllers because there aren't extra mixer channels to control the audio. What's weird is the S4 was not included in that list, but that would just be silly if it didn't get support (but I wouldn't be surprised because it didn't get iPad support :( ).

I think you might be somewhat right. In Traktor you can basically do what you want with it relative to other software.

It’s a true layer controller first as per the prefix lc so other software supported it as an appropriate add on first but it’s also designed to be used for anything else.

It looks like Denon made the hardware we where waiting to get from NI. There is a last chance, make it motorised.

I'd say that's only because the S3 is supported in Virtual DJ.
Traktor users won't benefit from that.
