LED control and output

Nearly every controller on the market has led's.

Can we please have some way of flashing an led in time with the BPM of a track.

I think I've tried every likely midi led output that might do the job with no joy.

It can't be rocket science.

 

Sure you can. For what system tho? You know there's Traktor Pro, Traktor Scratch, and Traktor 3 subforms with feature requests in there.

 

You know what would actually be pretty sweet (and possibly already exists...)?

It shouldn't be too hard to write a program that accepts midi input and outputs to either a software or hardware system that controls club lighting. To this end, you could output the master clock to it and sync all the lights to the beat.

Obviously you wouldn't want them to just.. flash on and off to the rhythm all the time, but there are likely some good creative possibilities.

theres a plugin for ableton live that does this. I believe it uses dmx control. It was in late development stages 1.5 years ago. The software was dongle/interface based and the plugin does what you are talking about .
