Left CD in a different country, just switched to Mac Help please

    Hello, I want to install Maschine on my new Mac. I had it on my normal desktop harddrive that I take to Canada while I visit, but I never thought I would be able to afford my Mac Book Pro that I just bought, so I didn't copy any of the original MASCHINE dmg things. So I was wondering where to get the original since all the downloads just seem to be updates and I had downloaded the 1.6 update by going into my NI account etc.. So can anyone help or know where on the site to get the full original Mac Maschine file.

    *Damn now with Massive too..

    and yes I know my username is spelled wrong

    Absolutely bizarre how NI expects users to keep the original install DVD as the only possible means of reinstalling Maschine ...

    Despite the best of intentions, discs are inevitably damaged, lost etc.

    Good luck locating the Data you need ....

    It would make sense to have it available as a download from this site .... not to mention a single, up to date installer as opposed to multi stage install and updates ...

    As it is, the install/update process is becoming pointlessly tedious and impractical ....

    Damn, well thanks for at least repsonding, I guess I'll get someone to mail it to me or something. Hopefully the Kazakh customs don't steal it and sell it like usual.

    I'm sure I'll figure something out.

    I found the Massive files, so I can at least use that for a bit

    Contact NI. They should give you a link to download it. I believe they have in the past for others.

    That is what I have read as well but when I contacted support about it the did not provide me with a up to date download link or the option to buy an up to date CD/DVD :(
